Content Licenses

This page explains the licensing terms for content created using VerveVideos, as well as the open-source software and third-party assets used in our platform.

Generated Content License

Paid Plans (Pro & Enterprise)

Videos generated on paid plans are licensed under our Commercial License, which grants you:

• Full ownership of generated videos
• Unlimited commercial use rights
• Right to modify, edit, and derivative works
• No attribution required
• Perpetual, worldwide license
• Right to use in advertising and marketing
• Right to sell or sublicense to clients

Free Plan (Starter)

Videos generated on the free plan are licensed under our Personal License, which grants you:

• Personal, non-commercial use only
• Videos include VerveVideos watermark
• No redistribution rights
• Social media sharing permitted with watermark
• Educational use permitted

Prohibited Uses

Regardless of your plan, the following uses are prohibited:

• Creating deepfakes or misleading content
• Impersonating real people without consent
• Generating illegal, harmful, or hateful content
• Creating content that violates intellectual property rights
• Using content in a way that violates our Terms of Service

Input Content

When using images or other content as input for video generation:

• You must have the right to use any input content
• We do not claim ownership of your input content
• You are responsible for ensuring inputs don't infringe on others' rights

AI Model Training

By default, we may use anonymized data to improve our AI models. You can opt out of this in your account settings. Enterprise customers have additional data handling options.

• Stock Media: Licensed from various providers

Music and Audio

If your generated videos include background music or audio:

• Audio from our library is licensed for use in your videos
• Commercial use included with paid plans
• You may not extract and redistribute audio separately
• Third-party music platforms may have additional requirements

API License

Use of our API is subject to:

• Our API Terms of Service
• Rate limits and usage quotas
• Attribution requirements for certain use cases
• Compliance with all applicable laws
